CHECK the TIDE TIMES!! Every year stupid people take a risk and get washed away when the tide comes in and air sea rescue are called out to rescue them! Only add this to your list if you have a brain!

Fantastic island. Fun causeway. Lots of see and do. Recommend visiting the castle if nothing else.

Use the castle shuttle minibus if you have smaller kids as it's not a short walk for little ones. The bus stops at various places on the small island.

The safe crossing times are v important make sure you know them and don't cross outside of them!

Small island with such a nation changing history. Watch for safe crossing times as the causeway floods.

Make sure you wrap up well we were freezing ???? cold and wet through and when we got to the castle ???? it was closed so check before you go
